In Brief

Etana got his start in music following an accident with an 18 wheeler at age 14. Within a year, he and best friend Xavier had formed Area 51. Since then, the band has been his Central preoccupation. Currently, he is a sound engineer and heavy promoter of unsigned artists. His goal is to one day use the success of Area 51 to help other original and talented musicians.

Nathan's innovative style is so original no one else sounds like him. Sticking to a fretless bass and being very selective when chosing to follow root notes is both rare and refreshing.
